Voice of Eddie: Episode 11

The VOE 2nd annual holiday show is here! We are so blessed in 2025, that we extended this holiday show to 45 minutes, to welcome our special guest, none other than the one and only Elaine Del Valle, WEPAAAAAA!!!!! Elaine is a beacon and inspiration to latino artists & creators, recently releasing her Oscar qualifying independent feature film “Brownsville Bred” in theaters nationally during Hispanic Heritage month, and now streaming on Apple TV and Prime Video. Other Elaine Del Valle work includes “Princess Cut” on HBO Max, “Midnight Hustle” on Tubi, as well as casting the award-winning animated series “Alma’s Way” on PBS kids. Brownsville Bred is based on Elaine’s coming of age story growing up in Brownsville Brooklyn. First performed off-broadway as a one-woman show and also published as an autobiography. Brownsville Bred is a heartfelt story that you will want to see for yourself. Releasing an independent film nationally is no small feat. So, we asked Elaine a few questions that might share a little glimpse of this journey with our listeners, both personally and professionally. If you or someone you know has ever had a BIG dream to create, this show is worth listening to and sharing. Then we have a little fun VOE style, talking about some traditions around the holiday, including the influence of music, and some of our yummy food dishes, beverages, and desserts. Elaine will help us put an end to the controversy of how we should consume pasteles during the holidays- Do we eat them with or without ketchup? Find out on this special holiday show and share it!! Lessssgooooo!! Dale!!
